Wrong Way Driver Involved in 3-Vehicle Accident on Century Freeway

A fatal crash involving 3 cars and a wrong way driver occurred on the westbound Century Freeway in Linwood on October 24. Shortly after 3:00 am, a young man, who was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, drove onto the highway in the wrong direction and collided head-on with another car. A passenger in that car was killed, and three other persons experienced serious injuries. A third vehicle was also involved in the accident, but early reports did not indicate whether that vehicle’s occupants were injured.
