School Bus And Multiple Car Crash South LA
No serious injuries were reported in an early morning crash involving a Los Angeles school bus and multiple vehicles. Seven students were aboard the bus; the bus driver was taken to a nearby hospital for further examination. A man in one of the other vehicles was also treated for a non life threatening injury.
According to police reports, a white pick up truck allegedly ran a stop sign forcing another car to swerve to avoid collision. The car crashed into the school bus, which then hit two other cars. One of the parked cars, unoccupied at the time of the accident, became wedged under the bus. The bus came to a halt when it hit a utility pole. Another bus was sent to pick up the students up and parents were to be notified. Further investigation is pending.
