This case stemmed from an auto accident in which a bus rear-ended a number of cars at a high rate of speed. The Plaintiff, Mr. B, an immigrant from Africa, was driving a taxi cab when he was rear-ended so hard the car in front of him went up in the air and came down on top of him.

He injured his back and neck, requiring lower back surgery. Mr. B is a naturalized citizen of the United States who was working hard to bring his family over from Africa at the time of the crash. As a result of his injuries, he was forced to miss at least 12 months of work.

Now thanks to the $1 million settlement secured by Ellis Injury Law, Mr. B will be able to bring his family to the United States legally and give them a chance for a better life and the opportunity to pursue the American Dream.
