California Highway patrol reported early Sunday two men were killed in a head-on collision on the 405 freeway involving a wrong way driver.  The wrong way driver was traveling south in the northbound lane north of the 55 near Costa Mesa when the incident occurred.  Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

One of the vehicles involved, a 2004 Ford, caught fire.  Firefighters arrived at the location extinguishing the blaze.  Authorities have not determined whether drugs or alcohol were involved; further investigations are pending.  Reports say that there were no passengers in either vehicle.
