The LAPD are currently investigating a car crash from Friday, March 5, 2021, that left one woman dead.

According to initial findings, a stopped vehicle that was waiting for a red light on South Broadway was rear-ended by a pickup truck heading north at around 12:50am. The two cars then spun into a group of parked cars near the intersection of South Broadway and West 43rd Street in Los Angeles. The initial report also stated that investigators don’t have any reason to think that drugs, alcohol, or street racing were involved in the crash.

Sadly, first responders pronounced the woman who was driving the stopped car dead at the scene. The woman, who has since been identified as Nicole Foster, was only 34 years old. The pickup truck driver was sent to the hospital and has since been reported to be in critical condition.
