Our client was a woman being taken to an area hospital for her dialysis treatment. The driver responsible for her safety, failed to secure her properly within the transport vehicle.
On the way to the hospital, the driver of the transport van ran a red light and impacted another vehicle.
As a result of the collision, the woman received serious injuries including multiple fractures of her right leg. She ultimately required four separate surgeries to save the leg.
She was awarded policy limits of $1 million against the driver and company tasked with her safe transport.
