Mrs. A slipped and fell at work due to the negligence of the cleaning service. The resulting accident caused Mrs. A to having knee surgery, which was paid for by a Worker’s Compensation insurance carrier.
While the defendants argued that it was her shoes and her walking pattern that caused her to slip, multiple depositions determined that the cleaners left cleaning fluid on the floor which caused the accident.
Though the defendants held out for almost 2 1/2 years, Ellis Injury Law was able to obtain a $125,000 award for Mrs. A’s pain and suffering.
