Plaintiff DOE 1 was injured at GROCERY STORE when she slipped and fell on water leaking from a drink bin. DOE 1 sustained multiple orthopedic injuries, underwent two neck surgeries, as well as sustained a traumatic brain injury. After extensive discovery, including double-digit depositions, multiple rounds of written discovery, and expert retention in multiple disciplines, this case resolved at mediation for $1.5 million.
