Car Crashes into Downey Bob’s Big Boy Restaurant

Early Tuesday morning, a red SUV crashed through and overturned in the front window of Bob’s Big Boy restaurant in Downey.  The wreck was reported at 3:30 am at the well-known southern California location.  The restaurant was closed at the time and no employees were inside.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.  He was able to escape from the wreck without injury.  Reports say that the Bob figure in front of the restaurant entrance was not damaged.
